Dr. Mariya Gold, DACM
Dr. Mariya Gold, DACM is a board-certified acupuncturist and has been licensed in the state of Hawaii since 2011. She is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), is a Diplomate of Acupuncture and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Mariya began as a patient at Kailua Acupuncture Clinic in 2005. She went on to work at the front desk and then managed the clinic while working toward her 4-year Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in Honolulu.
Dr. Mariya traveled to China in 2010 where she attended an Advanced Course of Chinese Medicine at the International Training Center of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has also taken advanced training courses in Sports Medicine Acupuncture with Whitfield Reeves and Healing Community Trauma Training with Acupuncturists Without Borders. Additional trainings have included facial rejuvenation using microcurrent and color light therapy, Lomi Lomi Hawaiian healing with Uncle Alva, acupuncture for the cancer patient, allergy elimination techniques, and healing with essential oils. In 2021, Dr. Mariya completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine through Pacific College of Health and Science. Dr. Mariya loves learning and is constantly striving to gain more knowledge and skill in what she is able to offer her patients.
